If you are anything like me, when you love a song you keep it on repeat for days at a time. That current song for me is “The One You Love” by Elevation Worship feat Chandler Moore. The first time that I heard the song the lyrics just had me floating.

The reminder that I can be honest with God, I can be myself with God, I can be flawed with God and I am still the woman that He loves.

The reminder that I don’t have to prove my worthiness to God, I don’t have to be consumed by guilt of my mistakes, I don’t have to fear that God will leave me when I fall because God’s love never fails. 

I figured that this was not only a good reminder for me but a great reminder for everyone. So I wanted to use this blog as an opportunity to encourage the women of Confident Woman Co.

As women it is easy to fall into the trap of believing that we have to make ourselves valuable by a worldly standard to receive love or we have to do everything right to deserve love.

God’s love is perfect! He has already made us worthy, He has already made us deserving of His love and there isn’t anything big enough to cause Him to take his love away from us. 

We can have confidence that we are loved! We are loved at our highest moment and our lowest. When we know that we are loved, our lives reflect that.

When we are confident in God’s love we not only are able to love others well and love God well but we are able to love ourselves well.

So instead of sitting in guilt when we fall, we are able to get up, repent, and continue moving forward.

Instead of holding on to resentment, we are able to forgive. Instead of striving for perfection, we are able to rest in God. 

3 Scriptures To Read When You Need To Be Reminded That You Are Loved:

Have Confidence That You Are Secure In God’s Love

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

God’s Love Is Unfailing

God Wants Us To Live In Love

“And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.”

Take time today to really listen to the lyrics of The One You Love by Elevation Worship feat Chandler Moore. Really soak in those lyrics.

Take a journal and write down anything that the enemy had you believing made you less deserving of love or anything that you feared would have God take his love away from you.

After you write down those lies, go back and write the truth. Find scriptures that combat those lies and write them next to the lies with a statement that reminds you that God’s love for you is eternal. 

I pray that every woman that reads this blog experiences God’s love in a real way. I pray that you are so consumed by God’s love that it pours out onto everyone around you.
